After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, Taylor worked as a project designer for McInturff Architects working on high-end, modern residential and commercial designs in the Washington, DC area.

Taylor holds a masters of architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and his undergraduate degree from Coe College.
