This little project was a gift to the kids of the West Austin Youth Association baseball and softball leagues. All of the materials, construction, labor, and Architectural design and drawings were donated.

The crow's nest works into an existing and somewhat haphazard geometry of two ballfields and bleachers. Two large windows overlook their respective fields providng a perch for announcers and scorekepers to follow both games simultaneously. Storage of team equipment is handled below.

The major materials (cheap and readily available) are southern yellow pine lumber. 16" wide hardi-plank siding with cedar battens and recessed metal corners. The roof is galvanized corrugated metal and the stair is painted metal.
